1. Scope
This policy applies to the BrainBridge mobile app, official website, and support. BrainBridge is a learning and entertainment service. We do not use gameplay data to diagnose cognitive impairment and do not ask for medical information.
2. Data stored on your device
To provide the game, the app stores a nickname, avatar, age range, preferred language, accessibility settings, a secure hash of the adult access code, puzzle area, difficulty, completion status, hints used, response time, progress summaries, and passport stamps on your device.
The app does not transmit this data to BrainBridge or third parties. It does not require an adult email address, exact birth date, precise location, contacts, photos, microphone content, advertising ID, or medical information.
3. How local data is used
- Create family profiles and save offline progress on this device.
- Adjust puzzle difficulty based on completion and hint use.
- Show practice progress, family reports, and collected content.
- Protect family settings and data deletion with an adult gate.
4. Children’s privacy
The app has no advertising, tracking, public chat, stranger matching, or public leaderboards, and it does not market directly to children. Player data remains on the device, and family management features are behind an adult gate.
5. Sharing and third parties
The app does not sell or share personal data, serve behavioral advertising, or include analytics, advertising, login, payment, or crash-reporting SDKs. App Store and Google Play may process download and store technical data under their own policies; that processing is controlled by the relevant store.
6. Retention, security, and deletion
Local data remains until you delete it in the app or uninstall the app. Open Settings, choose “Delete family data from this device,” pass the adult gate, and confirm to clear family profiles, settings, progress, and stamps. See our data deletion instructions.
7. Website and support
When you visit this website, its hosting provider may process basic connection logs to secure and deliver the pages. If you email support, we use your email address and message to respond and retain them only as needed to handle the request and meet legal obligations.
8. Updates
If we later add accounts, sync, analytics, or payments, we will update this policy and store disclosures first and obtain adult consent where required. Material changes will be announced in the app or on this website.
